PRINTEX FUNERAL CLOTH

Printex Limited is situated in Accra, Ghana established in the 1950's mainly for the production of fabric.
Printex fabric designs are a blend of  exotic colours of  African forest. Printex produces fabrics such as suits and shirt materials, traditional African Print etc.
 Printex has a wide range of Traditional African Prints and each design is sutable for every occasion.
The picture is an example of a traditional African Print for funeral ceremonies. The name of the cloth in our local language Twi is "Awurade na onim masem" meaning "Only God knows my story".

ANGELINA CLOTH

The Angelina cloth is a Ghanaian cloth made with colourful designs. It is worn by both genders which includes different tribes in Ghana. Angelina is the name of the first person who wore the cloth so, it was named after her. The Angelina cloth is mostly worn for any occasion because it is made with different colours. This is an example of an Angelina cloth suitable for any occasion.

ADINKRA FUNERAL CLOTH

Adinkra means goodbye or farewell in the Twi language of the Akan ethnic group.It has been the tradition of the Akan especially, the Ashanti's  wear cloths decorated with Adinkra symbols on important occassions especially at funeral of family relations and friends.
The Adinkra cloth signify their sorrow and to bid farewell to the deceased. But in recent times the Adinkra cloth has different varieties for funeral ceremonies and  for social gathering.

 This is a picture of an Adinkra cloth used for funeral ceremonies. The name of this cloth in the twi ghanaian language "Obaatanpa ben na yebena se wo",which means "there is no mother like you".
